Went with my son today for an assessment appointment for pfmla. They have been struggling with depression. Rather than assisting their patient, the nurse practioner proceeded to argue with my son about pfmla. She never asked them how they were doing or did an assessment and she reacted to their pronoun request with disdain. This is NOT how a medical professional should be treating a patient! My son ended up exiting from the appointment in tears. The people in reception were very sympathetic and helpful, but the damage and trauma wrought by this uncaring individual has been done.

Had a terrible interaction on the phone with rude receptionist who kept correcting me and telling me what I did and did not say. Does anyone do customer service training with their public facing staff anymore? I'm not a medical professional and don't work at your clinic. You're supposed to help me get in to see someone, not expect me to know your job. There are a lot of options in the area and I will be choosing one of the others.

I recently had a visit at CHAS Health’s Perry St. location for my new patient appointment. I was seen by Miguel, who was assisted by Amanda. It was clear from the start that they genuinely care and wanted to get to the root of my health concerns, especially since I’m eager to get back to the gym and return to my usual activities. They took the time to listen, let me explain what’s been bothering me, and recommended tests to help find the right solutions. You can really tell that these folks truly care about the community. At the end of my visit, I also had the chance to chat with Joey, the patient resource coordinator. She was incredibly thorough, explaining insurance details and what to look for. Her energy was fantastic, and it’s clear she could excel at anything she sets her mind to. CHAS Health has a great team, and it’s obvious they’re valued and supported. I highly recommend this clinic!

I used to love this place, so caring. Behavioral health and medical. Now many roadblocks being thrown up- I thought the whole point was accessibility. Struggling with mental health issues and they want me go go through a primary care referral to see my previous therapist. (Again?) Way to rack up unnecessary charges on people who don't have unsurance to pad your pockets. I took 6 months away and have to start over, take time off work I can't afford for extra appointments to get care. If someone has mental health issues and reaches out, the appropriate response is NOT a push away, more expense, and more red tape. Only reason for three stars is in honor of the excellent practitioners. The administration of CHAS is seriously going downhill.

I have found that everyone I've encountered at this office from front desk to nurses flowing over to the pharmacy are all totally amazing. Very friendly, kind and empathetic but most importantly very efficient and professional. I love my provider and the one time I had to see a different provider I received the same quality of care as the one I normally see. Although I wouldn't trade Miguel for love or money. He totally gets it. Whatever problem I've brought to him and where I'm usually timid I feel very comfortable sharing all health issues I might have. Another big bonus is I appreciated the blood draws I didn't even feel!!!! Usually tMrs 3 tries.I feel very blessed to be a patient there and knowing other services I don't need at the moment are a wonderful security blanket if I do become in need. Thanks guys you're all beautiful people!
